How do I post an ad?
Click the "Post" button in the top navigation, fill in your category, title, description, price, and location, then upload up to 10 photos by dragging them into the upload area or clicking to browse. Submit your listing, and it will be reviewed before going live — this usually happens quickly.
Why isn't my listing showing up yet?
Every new listing is reviewed by our team before it becomes publicly visible, to help keep the marketplace safe and free of spam. Once approved, it will appear in search results and your chosen category. You can check your listing's status anytime from your Dashboard.
How do I edit or delete a listing?
Go to your Dashboard, find the listing, and click the edit (pencil) icon to make changes, or the delete (trash) icon to remove it permanently. Editing a listing sends it back for a quick re-review before it's public again.
How do I mark an item as sold?
From your Dashboard or the listing's own page, click "Mark as Sold." Your listing stays visible with a "Sold" label so other users know it's no longer available, and messaging is closed to new buyers. You can undo this and mark it available again if needed.
How does messaging work?
Click "Send Message" on any listing to start a conversation with the seller — no need to share your personal phone number or email. All your conversations are available from your inbox.
How do I see a seller's phone number?
Phone numbers are masked by default for privacy. Click "Show Number" on a listing to reveal it — you'll need to be logged in to do this, which helps prevent automated scraping and spam.
How do I save a listing to look at later?
Click the heart icon on any listing to add it to My Favorites. You can find all your saved listings anytime from your account menu.
How do I set my location?
Click the location selector in the top navigation, choose your province and city, and apply it. We'll remember your choice so listings near you show up automatically on future visits.
How do I report a listing?
Open the listing and click "Report Listing," then briefly describe the issue. Our team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action, which may include removing the listing or suspending the account behind it.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
From the login page, you can access password recovery options. If you're already logged in and just want to change your password, go to Profile → Change Password.
Is it free to use uuStuff Classifieds?
Yes. Creating an account, posting listings, and messaging other users are all completely free.
What items are not allowed?
